Fits Grass 1006-30 Hinge

If you found this page while searching for a Grass 13158 face frame adapter plate then you’re in the same position I was in several years ago. These face frame adapters fit the discontinued Grass 1006-30 hinge.

My face frame adapter for my kitchen cabinet hinge broke, leaving me with a cabinet door barely hanging on. 👎

Over the next several months, several more would end up cracking or breaking entirely.

After being unable to find a replacement or only seeing overpriced ones on ebay, I decided to do something about it.

I designed a replacement that could be easily manufactured, was reasonably priced, and functioned like new… this website is the result of those efforts.

I initially thought these would be machined for the strongest replacement. But after testing several different material types when 3d printing prototypes, I found that the plastic material was very durable. I tried PETG and ABS and those worked out well. Even PLA (a very common 3d printing plastic material) was holding up extremely well. The tiny bit of flex that the printed plastic gives, I believe, makes these less prone to cracking, while still being exceptionally durable.

I have been running these 3d printed parts for quite some time, and haven’t had one break yet.

These are cheap to make, durable, and are proudly designed and printed in the 🇺🇸 USA 🇺🇸

Because these are 3d printed, I can print them in about any color. White looks good with white cabinets as it just blends in a little bit more.

These will ship as pictured above, in a dark gray by default. If you’d like a different color, contact me with your preference and if possible I’ll make it happen.
